FAQ
Questions people ask us
What does the free plan include, and what are its limits?
Setu Start gives you billing, stock, batch and expiry, and the GST reports. The limits are 1 User, 1 firm, 1 godown and 1,000 sale bills a year. It is free for life — no payment, ever — and bills carry a "Made with BinaSetu" line.
Is there a trial?
Yes. A paid plan opens fully for 30 days. If it is not paid after that, you drop to Setu Start and no data is lost. You can also look at the demo company first, with no sign-up.
How do I pay?
You pay from inside Setu, yearly or monthly. Every payment gets a GST tax invoice.
Do I get a GST invoice, and can I take the GST back as ITC?
Yes. Give your GSTIN and every payment comes with a tax invoice at 18% GST. You can take that GST as input credit (ITC), like any business expense.
Will TDS be cut?
TDS is cut only if you pay us more than ₹50,000 in a year, for example Setu Max paid for several years at once. Ask your CA, and we will give him what he needs.
What is the refund and cancel rule?
Yearly plans: tell us within 7 days of paying and we refund. Monthly plans: stop any time. If you stop paying, you drop to Setu Start and keep your data.
Does the Year-end offer price really stay?
Yes. Join by 31 March 2027 and the price before GST never goes up for you, at every renewal. If the GST rate changes, only the GST part changes. From 1 April 2027 new customers pay the regular price. If you start on Setu Start, pay by 30 June 2027 to keep the offer price.
Is training done at my office?
No. Training is by video call only, never an office visit. Every plan has Help pages, how-to videos and WhatsApp chat; Setu Max includes staff training on a video call.
Can I move over from my old software?
Yes. Items, parties, bills owed, opening stock and the trial balance come across. Do it yourself for free, or we do it for you for ₹1,999 once (free with a yearly Setu Team and with Setu Max). You can run both side by side until the figures match.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes, any time, from inside Setu. Your data stays as it is.
